Ontario Richardson is Mississippi born and raised. She grew up in Moss Point which is along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She currently resides in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She has a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Radio Television and Film. 

Ontario started her career in 2002 at WLOX TV in Biloxi, MS which is near her hometown. She worked there for three years as an editor, photographer, and news reporter. In 2005 she joined the WDAM-TV news team where she served as a news reporter/fill in anchor for 8 years. In 2013, she stepped into the role of entrepreneur starting her own media company called ORR Production. ORR Production provides clients with an exceptional public relations/marketing service, voiceovers services, and radio/television commercials. She also travels the country giving motivational speeches that encourages others not to accept the word “no” when the odds seems to be against them.
